Equip your working dog with advanced ballistic and stab protection using the EARTSCH K9 Assault Vest PROTECT, handmade in Germany for military, police, and high-risk operational K9s. Built with a Cordura® outer shell and Mil-SPEC / German TL materials, this vest combines durability, comfort, and mission-ready performance.

The PROTECT vest is designed around modular ballistic inserts, allowing you to choose the protection level that best suits your threat environment.

Ballistic Insert Options

For the PROTECT vest, the following insert options are available:

1) Soft Ballistic Insert – VPAM 3 Certified

• Certified VPAM 3 protection (9×19 mm, 415 m/s)
• Aramid soft-armor construction
• No dedicated stab protection
• Very soft and flexible, ideal when comfort and mobility are the priority
• High ballistic performance with a tested V50 of 480 m/s against 9×19 mm rounds

2) Soft Ballistic / Hybrid Insert – Special Thread + In-House Stab Test

• Individual ballistic test to 9×19 mm, 415 m/s
• Tested under 30 mm BFT with 30 mm edge hit (part of the VPAM 3 test protocol)
• Constructed from Dyneema® UHMWPE
• In-house stab protection test: 12 Joule S1/G blade
• Soft and flexible construction
• Areal density approx. 4 kg/m²

3) Optional Chainmail Upgrade

• Both insert options can be upgraded with chainmail inserts
• Estimated to reach 25 Joule VPAM K1 level
• Not certified
